Wagenküll − it is an unhurried holiday mindset and a hymn to time outside of time.

A true South Estonian gem is located in one of Estonia’s best-preserved Art Nouveau Taagepera manor houses. The castle spa Wagenküll offers luxurious and romantic accommodation in three different historical buildings, with a total of 75 rooms and suites, each of which is special thanks to its wonderful history and eye-catching architecture.

Taagepera Castle

Taagepera Castle has a total of 30 rooms. Mainly double rooms with a wide bed, deluxe rooms with open bathrooms, single rooms and luxurious suites.

The castle suites are all unique, and most of them are retro style with an open bathroom. In the suite that was used as the Baron’s study in the manor era, the interior design has preserved the wooden wall panels characteristic of Art Nouveau style; the room has a canopy bed, a fireplace and a whirlpool bath.

On the second floor of the castle there is the historic von Stryk suite, which is the only room in the castle with a balcony. One interesting part of the room is the seating area with armchairs built into the corner tower of the castle. In the Baroness’s suite, too, the wooden wall panels typical of Art Nouveau and the architecturally interesting seating area in the corner tower of the castle add value, making it perfect for enjoying “five o’clock tea”.

In the Baron’s night suite you will find a canopy bed and elements characteristic of Art Nouveau in the building style.

Park House

Park House has 40 rooms, which are connected by a tunnel to the spa and sauna centre located in the castle.

From the rooms there is an idyllic view of the lake, as well as of the park with tall trees, the inner courtyard and Taagepera Castle. Park House has double rooms (with a wide bed or separate beds) as well as family rooms consisting of two double rooms. In addition, the Panorama suite is located in Park House, with a terrace that offers a wonderful view of Taagepera Castle.

Steward’s House

Steward’s House is located between the castle and Park House, but it is not connected to the main building, i.e. the castle.

The rooms have a historical atmosphere, yet are elegant and equipped with modern conveniences. Steward’s House has a total of 5 rooms (3 standard, 1 deluxe and 1 suite), and the house is well suited for a smaller group looking for more private accommodation.
